Freedom in Fragility was born out of pain. More specially, it was born out of the country's overwhelming response to my debut book, Pain Unseen: The Truths That Lie Beneath My Strength.
I'm Casey Ariel Richardson, a woman who boarded a one-way flight to head 2,700 miles away to a city I'd never before visited in an attempt to start my entire life over.
That journey was the beginning of a road of much-needed healing. A journey that I was detailed in my memoir. As I gave light to the shadows of her deepest wounds - church hurt, domestic violence, divorce and childhood trauma - I gave hundreds around the country the courage to do the same.
In response to the beautifully tender stories that were shared with me, I created Freedom in Fragility. A safe space where we may continue to connect in support, love, belief and patient healing.
MY MISSION
The mission of Freedom in Fragility is to break the cycle of silent suffering. As our community embraces the rest + rejuvenation that is found in accepting the most tender parts of themselves, they radiate a special type of courage that liberates others.
MY PILLARS
The love we have for ourselves sets the standard for that we accept from others. May we love ourselves fiercely, from the beautiful crowns of our heads to the soul that resides beneath.
